um, no, Moonlight is going to win all the Oscars. This movie was an indie film, so it wasn't in popular theaters, it received mostly poor reviews and was panned for being racially insensitive. It only gained 685,780 on an 8 million budges, or in other words this film was a real loser. I have no idea why it was made in the first place or who thought it would be a good idea. Moonlight is an even smaller indie film that was shown at even less theaters than Mr.Church and managed to gain 9.8 million dollars on a budget of 5 million. Mr.church opened to 354 theaters and earned 107,000 its first night. moonlight only opened in 4 and earned 131,000.
