Low ratings. This is why people trust Rotten Tomatoes more.

Big difference in ratings on IMDB and Rotten Tomatoes. My speculation is childish racism.

While I don't use Rotten Tomatoes, but Metacritic, you are right. Also just saw in a post here that people rated it a 1 because the director allegedly raped someone but was found not quilty.

OJ also 'allegedly' killed somebody but was found not guilty, too. Do you really believe that?

reply

I am not fimiliar with the details of either case, so I would just prefer to believe the conviction.

So all cases are the same? Idiot.

In your case, they are. Stupid.

I use all sites just to gauge a film, never holding too much stock. I prefer Metacritic the most, as in that's generally in line with my type of film but definitely not always. Personally I found this average, nothing more, nothing less. I'd say 6, but only because I round up. While I do think people giving this a 1 just for the sake of Trolling is childish, I'm used to it at this point. Heavy Subject Matter doesn't create a great film. 12 Years A Slave was a perfect blend of Slavery, Racial Injustices and Cinematic Beauty and Power. This fell far short of that. Shock Value only goes so far.

It's more like the opposite. It's why people shouldn't trust Rotten Tomatoes. Ratings by the same people who vote awards for political purposes, not anything else.
