Late to the party

Just found this gem, and loved it as Australias lowbudget approach to things makes it easier to connect to the characters because it's like your average Joe filmed it

Season 1-2 were great, and got you invested in the characters, just s3 bombed and ended bad like the writers were just done with it, and felt pretty dang anticlimactic

Season 1 was really great. Season 2 was good, but not as great as Season 1, and yes, Season 3 kind of ruined it. The characters and acting were so good that you forget how crazy the plot was.

Tbh they could have done a whole lot better with S3,
Was Def room for a Kirstie-Chris romance,
And let Kate-James reconcile,

I mostly forget S3, and much of S2 come to think of it, but I just remember the series being compelling and interesting because of the great characters. I seem to remember that they turned James into a real jerk in the last season. I don't remember them ever explaining why some of them turned to want to kill the others and return them to the dead. I am not sure I have the patience to re-watch the series, but I do fondly recall it. The idea that James' dead wife returns and he has a new wife, and then the old man with the aboriginal wife was an interesting plot.

I'm finding so much more interesting stuff from other countries than America in the last years, it is kind of embarrassing for the USA. Iceland, and Finland, and even Russia has that series "To The Lake" that is good. Luckily I like to read subtitles.

Well, the bad ones who hunted the rest, Vic, Phil, Sarah, then James, died in real odd ways like the grim reaper was final destinationing them just to have hunters
They couldn't rekill William so just made him start seeing visions to turn him into a hunter too

There was room for Kate and James to finally admit they aren't over each other and the last two years with Sarah were just filler til they got back together

And yeah, paddy's story of "I was a right bastard the first time around, time to make amends now" was great
Just wish the others could have sorted their unfinished business
