I prefer it to all those other 'back from the dead' shows

Yes, it sounds familiar, yes the basic idea is very much like some shows we've seen recently, such as Les Revenants, The Returned, Resurrection, etc.
And (spoiler alert) it has many similaritiee, but yet, I prefer it to all the ones I mentioned earlier.
I've seen the first 4 episodes and so far it isn't really about religion or other mythical nonsense.
No angels, no afterlife, etc.

Dead people in a small town just come back to life.
There are hints that it may have something to do with a bio-chemical company nearby but no answers yet.

BUT the main reason for me to enjoy this more than the others is that the people who have come back are just a lot more interesting than in other shows.
Some have just been dead for a few years and have complicated relationships with others still alive.
But there are also ex-dead people who died a lot longer ago, being part of history, making how they respond to what happened to their world quite entertaining and amusing.

I find this show just more entertaining than the others.
