Um, why are they naked?
Don't Australians bury people with clothes on?
And why can't all the resurrected manage to have a shower even after 6 episodes (3 days)? They manage to get clothes, get fed, get transport, get housed, get racy but only three find soap and water.
shareLOL!
shareI got on this message board looking for an answer about their cleanliness too.
shareSeriously! lol
shareSeriously. Bathing everyday is a relatively modern thing. the people from before 1940ish would have been grimy in real life. So, I don't see any issue with Paddy not bathing. Also, the guy who robbed the stagecoach would have been used to being dirty.
What I find more confusing is how Paddy didn't blink one time at modern devices. Yeah, he was annoyed about the casino machines in his pub. Otherwise, he didn't even blink at cars, electricity, the cell phone.......
The only person who seemed to react, somewhat, was the world war one kid. Charlie? Can't think of name. He was touching the lamp. He was surprised there were two world wars. He looked up when a huge plane flew overhead. Yeah, they had airplanes in WWI, but not the big silver things we have now.
Yes, and inside coffins too, which they somehow manage to extricate themselves from. Then dig through six feet of compacted dirt with their bare hands.
shareI was thinking that maybe their clothing had fallen apart with age, but then some hadn't been buried for very long. Unless maybe insects ate their clothes?

They just look better that way :-)
shareI got the sense that it was some kind of birth image. They didn't come out of coffins; the way the emergence was shown it looked like they were being born.
shareMy thoughts exactly, dsrtrosy-1.. they came back naked, disoriented and vulnerable.
... besides, naked people are more fun to watch...
Smoke me a kipper. I'll be back for breakfast
Naked? The first thing I thought about was they should be embalmed. All the blood should have been removed from their bodies. So I thought maybe a wizard brought them back or something. I think the naked thing was to get viewers attention.
