The doc spoilers

If she's dead why is she not feel the effects of going over the bridge

reply

Well I reckon there's 2 types of resurrection

There's the one where you're still you when you come back and those ones are affected by the bridge - so that would be the people who rose from the grave

And then there's the one where you die and get replaced by someone else - i.e. Vic, the doc and Sarah - and they do not get affected by the bridge as you see at the end Vic has no problem with it either

As to why there's this difference, I have no idea. Feels like the people raised from the graves were either some kind of accident or experiment where as Vic and the doc are people sent to take care of it.. maybe

I still think the doctor is neither a resurrected or possessed and it's just a regular person who took the identity of someone else so the pharmaceutical company could plant her in the Yoorana community without suspicion.

It also seems there can only be one possessed subject at a given time (Sarah is possessed after Vic -well, its body- dies). It's unlikely that there would be two separate entities possessing two bodies at the same time (Vic and Elishia), unless they have a different mission (evil vs good, demon in charge of destroying the resurrected vs angel sent to protect them). But it still doesn't fit Elishia.

If the resurrected are indeed the result of an experiment, there would be a protocol in place for it. The Pharmaceutical company would want to contain the experiment as the subjects can't go rogue and start wandering all over the country. Think of Yoorana as a controlled environment for that experiment. How it is achieved is an unanswered question, however electricity and/or magnetic fields seem to be hinted at various points.

I think most people are looking at it backwards, you think protecting them is a good thing and returning them to death is bad. When its the other way around. The doctor is messing with the natural order of things. Vic and now Sarah are there to set things right. They're not evil. Its the ones interfering that even if they dont see it are doing wrong. Notice Vic only killed Maria, already dead and tried to kill the others already dead.
