Charlie is Divine, and I knew...

Maybe it was just wishful thinking, but before Charlie (Sean Keenan) was outed in S1.E5, I had him tagged as a totally delectable young man. I was delighted when my intuition proved true, and we learned about "George".

And then, the series stopped? I binged episodes 1-6 on Netflix. I understand there is a Season 2 (6 episodes is way short!) Look forward to more of this story and especially, more of Charlie! He's really special!

Definitely a cutie, but why is he always dirty? Nasty *beep* always caked in his ears...it's actually really grossing me out. I mean every episode he's got it. Is there a reason?

He's a farmer from the early 20th century. Not exactly a job known for the cleanliness of the workers.
