Are people buried in Australia naked?

I'm just starting this. Good so far.. but even If it may sound like a stupid question as,in the states people are buried clothed, which is stupid enough when you think about it,our zombies are clothed too. Lol... I was thinking it is maybe a kinda clue, maybe??? .that it had something to do with why??? But I can't see what,.. lol..
I googled the question and got no real answer.

All these walking corpses are coming from the ground naked. So it must be the case, right,???,it isn't just gratuitous,so what gives. Lol. I must know...I'm surprised I'm the first to ask...I get the older ones,,having had most of their threads gone, but some are new.
I looked for this question figuring it was here, but I'm apparently the first idiot to ask...lol...Thank...

No. But there's something else going on. I mean, Paddy should just be bones at this point. Their clothing being missing is about the least interesting\significant aspect of their return.

I wondered that too. I also wondered how they so easily dug themselves out. If they were in coffins under 6 feet or so of dirt, I doubt they could have pushed open their coffin under all that weight. Especially some of those who had been there a super long time. That dirt would be pretty well packed down.

I'm only on episode 4, so maybe this is all answered later.

Good thought!
Maybe we will find out in the new season!

I assume their clothes had disintegrated...though someone else made a good point that if they're naked because the clothes disintegrated, then there shouldn't be a body for some of them to be walking around in given how old they would be.

I also thought about their coffins and vaults. Are we to assume that Kate's coffin, only two years old, has already decomposed? I don't know how quickly wooden coffins decompose, but I wouldn't think two years would be long enough. Maybe they don't use vaults in Austrailia? Maybe being a small town, they use very simple wooden coffins that would have decomposed quicker?

If she had a steel coffin there is no way she could have gotten out of that with all that dirt on top. Maybe graves aren't as deep there? Or maybe just like it is impossible to come back from the dead, we're also just supposed to suspend reality about how they made it out of their graves as well.
