2nd deaths and the reason for the returns

Carlos disintigrated on the bridge. Why? He crossed the bridge or becaise his brother also died at that instant? Did he fulfil the reason for his return?

Why did Maria not disintegrate when a) she resolved her relationship with her husband or b) when Vic snapped her neck? She ended up in a shallow grave.

Each character is returning to resolve something....perhaps.

What is Elisha's previous relationship with John?

Lots to answer in series 2.

I think them disintegrating has something to do with them leaving town. They tried like six separate routes out of town all around them and they all caused the bleeding and pain, I believe if they had kept pushing to leave they would have disintegrated as well. My question is if the doctor has also died, why did it not affect her to try and leave town? She didnt bleed beside Thomas when she was walking with him, if she couldn't leave it would explain why she was so interested in their boundaries, if not it arises even more questions.

The doctor is a real puzzle. They bring out the point that the doctor came to town a few years ago. Then we find out she died 4 or 5 years ago I can't remember exactly. Could she have been secretly working in the pharmaceutical company when she died? Otherwise why would she be in town? She seems familiar with the companies drugs. Vic or whoever was inhabiting him notice the guy who hung himself was stronger then the others and so recruited him to help drag the others out of town. Maybe he meant by stronger was that he was less affected by the boundaries. If so, then the doctor could also be of the same strength so was less affected. Maybe she is experimenting to created stronger glitches so they can build a community that can fight back at whatever is trying to bring them back, too death.
