One of my friends lives in England and I'm wondering if the movie will play there.

The BBFC have just given it an age rating, so it will

Fred the Movie somehow got a theatrical release in the UK, so it wouldn't surprise me if a multiplex here would play it.

Under "release date", it says "UK December".
