Whilst I'm not an expert Marine sniper, I think the final kill was incredibly amateurishly filmed considering what the payback was for. Not to mention what the show is about.
I mean, ignoring the issue of the maximum effective range for that type of round (the cabin looked way out of range), you would have to compensate for windage, elevation, Coriolis/Eötvös effect so the centre of the reticle would not be point of impact. It would be quite a few feet above and to the side, even taking into account the elevated firing position. And nowhere near as zoomed in.
Considering the range, the travel time of the bullet could have been around 10 seconds, not the 1.3 seconds in the show. Having a realistic travel time would have been way more satisfying. Watching the bullet break the sound barrier and creating a shock wave in the air as it curved to it's target would have been a million times better.
