Might as well cancel it I'm amazed they delayed this over stupid but they are okay with Queen of the South.

i thought their excuse to postpone the premiere was really unconvincing. I wonder if there were other reasons for their decision. Maybe the post-production takes longer than they thought it would.

reply

Really? You thought the almost daily public shootings was an unconvincing reason to delay a show called, Shooter?

I think you misunderstood me (or I expressed myself in a wrong way). I was just suggesting that the real reason behind the delaying might have had something to do with the troubled production.

I can't say positively, but I follow the cast, writing staff, and some of the crew plus the director on Twitter. The only major glitch seemed to be when Tom Sizemore ran over a stunt man (who only sustained minor injuries) and then was fired from the show. I think his role would have to be re-edited and/or re-shot with a new cast member, but that's a hiccup, not a disaster.

Tom Sizemore is exactly the reason why I thought that it might be a troubled production. If his role is big that means lots of reshoots. Hopefully that's not the case.

reply

Well, perhaps that's why production ran so long. It was completed the beginning of August.

Good to hear that.

No point in recasting and reshooting Sizemore. He wasn't a major character.
