Well the movie is based on a book, this is obviously based on the very same book. So ye they'll be extremely similar. That said, this has strayed away from the book and movie story by quite alot already.

shareThis series attempts to draw the story back to the Solotov character from the book and using him as a way to draw out Swagger, something pretty much ignored by the movie. Of course, I can't get past "Nadine" Memphis ...
shareAnd now it is completely unrecognizable from the books or the movie. I still like it but can't understand why they changed everything.
