Show gets better with every episode
The conspiracy becomes more intriguing with each episode and Swaggert's determination to clear himself more intense. Good show.

shareSwagger not Swaggert.
I agree. Next week looks flashback heavy though so I'm not that excited for it.
Great show....bad acting by FBI morons....the girl he talks too is the only smart one....like most if the FBI is this dumb we would be doomed.
shareNot really dumb, just single minded and only focusing on what's in front of them. Not great work admittedly. And I'm looking forward to next week's flashback MariMcabe. Might shed more light on Simmons and his motivations.
shareThis and Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency are my favorite new shows of the season. Very good program. Glad the ratings are fine, too.
No blah, blah, blah!
Not enough discussion about how cleverly this show is scripted. The details are so fine, such as how Bob Lee escapes a road block when he is trying to leave the Veteran's Hospital/Clinic. Trying to flee would have had him nabbed, so instead he acted like he desperately needed to get in, so they cleared his exit after insisting he leave.
I also like the consistent way Bob Lee handles his rifle. I read some of the interviews before the show launched and it was mentioned that Ryan was trained that a sniper never blinks. Watch the close ups, he never blinks, and that takes concentration. I tell you, this show has spoiled me for other films and shows which contain stereotypical Hollywood inaccuracies. (And don't get your undies in a bunch if you are a self proclaimed firearms expert and want to lecture about what you think is wrong with the firearms. There's a production cost for perfection that can kill a show, but Shooter has a consistent attention to detail.)
It's not what a movie is about, it's how it is about it.
