Shooter (2007) was excellent...

I haven't seen the movie, but I like the show so far.
It would be R-rated if USA didn't mute out all the F words. 

The movie was not that good but the show definitely is.

The movie was so much better. So far the shows stupid, I just can't get into.

Movie and series are both good.

The show moved away from the movie so some things are different. But from my understanding, the movie is actually based off a book but I never read any of them. I did really like the movie. The show as expected will be dragged out so, i expect once it gets to interesting part like him running from the police and more action sequences it gets better

Its a pale imitation of a fairly decent movie so far. Watered down and prettied up with male model-alike Phillips and his perfect family. I am still giving it a chance though.

I think both are excellent. I think the show follows the book, rather than following the movie. As a lot of things are different. I believe the show follows the book more accurately too. But I can't be sure, because I haven't read the book.
