Is Isaac more interesting as a character ?

He seemed like a good guy but at some point broke bad.

More interesting than Bob Lee? I don't think so.
More interesting than Johnson from the movie? Yes.

Exactly. It's a huge improvement over the movie version and a surprisingly engaging character on its own.

Isaac's character is a real problem for me.

I mean, he killed Donnie's mother. Geez!

He went over to the super dark side.

Now I wish I hadn't hoped we'd see Donnie's mother again. Yikes.

Yes because he's conflicted. He's not a cartoon villain.

Swagger is a stock hero. Perfect down the line, which makes him boring, but this isn't really built for him to be a complex character.
