I hate that the show will never get a proper ending.

I know it's early especially since season 2 is already ordered but it also means that season 1 will not wrap things up and the conspiracy will become even bigger. Bob Lee will get in more and more trouble.

The problem with conspiracy shows like this is that they just go on and on complicating everything until - after a year or two or whatever - they got cancelled and it's very likely that we will never see Bob Lee clearing his name and reuniting with his family.

The conspiracy story will wrap up in season 1. They have other books in the series to use for season 2.

This series shares the same source material for the movie, which is volume one of a series of books. It was stated early on that each season will follow another book.

This story will wrap up. Next season should follow book 2 which is a fascinating plot not involving Bob Lee Swagger being falsely accused but him unraveling a mystery about his father's death years ago.

It's not what a movie is about, it's how it is about it.
