Why do producers keep hiring Sizemore?

He cannot act.

Not anymore.... but prior to his drug issues he was a solid character actor. Hes a mess now(has been for awhile)

I wasn't aware of his drug issues. I noticed he gained a lot of weight.

But he is till an entertaining actor to watch.

Disagree, he was a phenomenal talent at one stage and Shooter has seen him regain at least a little of that old form. Seriously, watch Natural Born Killers, Heat, Bringing Out the Dead, Black Hawk Down or Saving Private Ryan, if you STILL think he can't act then you are beyond help.

Because he is a fine actor no matter how scandalous his private life is. The accident with the stuntman was indeed highly unprofessional but that does not affect his performance (which is professional).

Because as a sleazy creep himself, he does an outstanding job of playing sleazy creeps on film.
