The sisters husband is just going to allow Mrs Swagger to treat him like that?
We are expected to believe a guy will just skip town and desert his family because some skinny blonde in-law threatened him with a steak knife? Come on man!
Shame because that farce spoiled an otherwise decent episode.
You crack me up. I think that guy shows good judgement getting the hell out of Dodge after Julie Swagger holds a knife to his neck while giving him that option.
Killed by a man or killed by a woman, you would still be dead.
It's not what a movie is about, it's how it is about it. RIP Roger Ebert

Besides, the clincher for the brother-in-law was knowing his wife would be on her side, not his.
So you guys a scared of her too!? That's hilarious! Just because she's Swaggers wife doesn't make her a worrisome proposition. The brother in law needs to turn in his man card and move to California.
Your right you are a real man because you would supposedly rough up a woman. She could kill him just as easily as he could kill her. Plus, he suspects Bob Lee is still alive and he is sure as *beep* afraid of that guy.
Who said anything about 'roughing up a woman'?? I sure didn't. Disarming her and making her gtfo of my house would have been my course of action. The eunuch husband is either hiding under his bed or ran off to California.
Dave I take offense to that comment. How do you think we feel about our own state? Don't rub it in... Also, for the record Coronado Ca is Seal base headquarters...budz, and that ain't no bull... So while our politics arw a *beep* joke liberal monkeys and laws 2A with rainbows and gender bathrooms... We also have the hardest mother *beep* coming out of school for specialist training (damn neck ain't got *beep* on Coronodo) Stop kicking us while we're already down. Haha
Sorry satchmo, I just know Cali has the worst anti-gun laws in the US and must be a tough state to practice the 5th amendment in if the need arose. It's ironic that the Seals are based there. If Hillary had got in maybe she'd have made them switch to beanbag rounds or harsh language. ;)
I reacted the same way.. I almost stopped watching do to the "women can do everything we can do" vibe!! Its strike one for sure , but all in all it's been a pretty good show!

What's it like living in that fictionalized world?
Women over history have been doing a pretty good job of taking care of themselves and their children when pressed by circumstances to do so. What do you think happened to all those war widows from every conflict every 5 to 10 years for centuries?
And there have always been women who would take it to the level of grabbing a knife with every intent of following through.

I respect women and hear what you are saying , but in most situations a mans pride would take over and disarm or subdue a woman who was aggressive in that manor! Please don't question this or it will only get more embarrassing for you!It was just a little too much for it to be factually realistic...
