I like the show a lot but couldn't they have found a kid that can act. Every time she speaks I cringe. Worst child actor ever, even for a tv show !

shareShe act just like other 5-7 year old kids actors. Lexy Kolker started acting because of her sister Ava Kolker from Girl Meets World. She still learning and get better later.

#1 a 6 year rather sheltered child
#2 definitely much like her father (you can see her carefully observing events)
Lexy doesn't over act, nor has she been asked to get all weepy and clingy. Thank goodness she wasn't given overly mature dialogue which is my pet peeve with juvenile parts. She plays a quiet young child who has often been alone with her mother during her father's deployments and has been raised on his military stories to understand military slang such as "watch my six."

The girl played her role very naturally.
