I think she looks great for 65.

Hi It's me, Bev D'Angelo er I guess Mickey Rourke to you! I went looking through these comments because I am ridiculous. I'd love to say screw you for attacking what boils down to me being sixty five and living life the way I want I ( which doesnt include a face lift or fillers or botox , btw, but yea dental stuff, and that weight gain that happens when you say oh *beep* it a bit too often. ugh), but the thing is actually I care what you think about me.
I wasn't cast for looks or youth- What I had to offer was my devotion to this part. I loved the role I was invited to play. OF COURSE I went through all the stupid thing like : oh god, will the public let me age ( do they let any woman??)- and will I have a witty rejoinder when they don't. Well I dont have a witty rejoinder, just a bit of advice: If you are actually upset that actresses with a 42 year career don't stay the same , maybe um,,, check your own needs..or hey just go get a sandwhich when my scenes are on
All I wanted to do was convince you that the woman I played was real. Dark and real.

This group of actors- this whole show was an amazing experience. Everyone put everything they had into it despite a lot of set backs, like shooting ep 9 during the Santa Clarita fire, time crunches, $$$. All because we believe in it. The set was a celebration of creativity, a real actors set, with Ryan and Omar leading the way- and I am thrilled it got picked up. Hope you have connected with it and you'll be back for more ( and dont forget the back up sandwhich)
