Only watched season 1 as available on netflix, so no spoilers please on rest.

Overall I like the show but I felt there was a sudden acceleration of the story in the last 2 episodes and as a result felt rushed in those 2 episodes, 8 episodes is very short for a season, it probably needed at least 2-3 more.

I didn't care for the Deus ex machina - the Danes showing up to thwart the fight to the death. SHow lost some luster when they did that. At least Game of Thrones waited until season 6 to pull that shit on us (Battle of Bastards)
