Why does *spoiler* hate *spoiler* in the last couple episodes?

Why does Brida hate Uhtred so much at the end of the season? She threatens to gut him when they randomly meet in whatever village they were in at the time, when he was with his shadow queen.. last time they are each other she wasn't happy about everything but she didn't seem like she HATED him.. not like how she was this time (with the shadow queen).. it was as if she was wronged or like he killed someone or something? Young Ragnar doesn't hate him, so whats her prob?

And in episode 8, when they're all prepping to fight, she says to ragnar something about no mercy for Uhtred and says something else about wanting him dead and has this nasty hateful look like he's done something to her that she wants revenge for.. like he killed her dog or something? What happened in between those meetings that's made her so vengeful? Then they both don't even meet in that final battle or anywhere in that episode... so wtf was even the point? What's going on with that character??

I became so disgusted with Brida early on that I sort of tuned her out and ignored her, so I barely remember what she did in the final episodes. But it wouldn't surprise me if she was being nasty and hateful just because it's her normal personality.

I haven't read the books so maybe there is more to her we don't get in the show?

But it seems to me that she wanted something very different than he. She seems to want to be a Dane through and through. To put her previous life in the past she wanted nothing to do with the Saxons. She truly believed she was Dane. In her mind Uhtred is either with her or against her basically he betrayed her as she sees it in her mind she always wanted to go back to the Danes but Uhtred continued to want to win back his kingdom and lands he is stuck wanting ti be loyal to the Dane family who raised him and the Saxon crown and life that was taken from him. While young Ragnar still sees his brother. They still have a score to settle with Kjarnan or whatever his name is.

I think all that and (speculation only) I felt like she really loved him and he just was fond of her as a friend with benefits but not more. I also felt like maybe the miscarriage made her bitter, too.
