Vikings this is NOT !

I understand this to be a foreign show so right there all the British will stick their nose up and say this is better than Vikings. Truth is that this is no different than people saying " shameless " was better than the current one on Showtime. Vikings has 4 seasons under its belt and is a hit show. The Last Kingdom is nothing but a decent rip-off of it. It starts off much the same as Vikings.
I know people will give me shyt and I honestly don't care. How could you say this is better than a show with a 5th season to come , and is a huge hit. I don't know anybody that has even heard of this show if not for Netflix.
I will say that there are great shows and films that come from Britain/Whales/Scotland etc.. I actually think that The Last Kingdom is actually pretty good, but how can one say at this point that it's better than Vikings ??
The writing, choreographed fighting, and overall acting is definitely better.
Lastly I hear people saying Vikings is not correct in its history time line. Most of what is known about the Viking life is not exactly known. Of course adding more Fantasy makes it more fun to watch. I don't see where The Last Kingdom is really going so much off course than Vikings. The sacking of North Umbria and the Alliance with King Eckbert. It's exactly the same lol.
I respect everybody's decision and view on the show, but let's call it correctly. It's a watered down version of Vikings in almost every sense. Still pretty well done and I dig it , but I don't think you can say that 11 episodes is better than 4 seasons of what has been a highly thought of show which is available around the world. Just MHO on the matter. I'm not trying to cause a battle from people, but am open for a serious reason to why I am wrong.?
