Feminists are upset at the fact we don't get to see Robyn's reaction....

To her knowledge of the potential Rape.

Why did we need to see that? The whole point of the ending is to see Simon's World destroyed and I doubt Simon
Would ever tell Robyn anyway. She would just hate him even more.

Neither Gordo nor Simon would ever tell Robyn about Gordo's final gift. So I don't think it was a cop out not to show her reaction

I agree. It would've almost rendered the whole point useless. Gordo plants the seed of doubt and puts Simon in a corner where he can't do anything. If he tells her, it would have destroyed her and she potentially would've never looked at the child the same way again or at the least would be a constant reminder. The only thing he can do is live with the secret and take it to his grave.

If I were Robin, I would be upset at being raped, of course; however, I would be RELIEVED to know that my child did not have the same DNA as Simon!

Simon mentions that HIS father was a horrible bully to him, and Simon is also a bully. Father and grandfather are sociopaths, and this may be a genetic trait that is passed on, sometimes. At least Gordo is a real human being--messed up now DUE TO SIMON. Her child would be better off in a loving home (which means minus SIMON, whom she's leaving)and carrying Gordo's DNA, NOT Simon's!

Also, if Robin didn't want Simon around her child, legally, Simon would have no claim if it came down to it, correct? This is another huge plus. He could be cruel to the boy--in fact, he would almost certainly be abusive, especially if he thought it could hurt Robin.

So you'd rather the father of your child be the man who raped you, as opposed to your husband? Lovely.

And I really don't understand where you get the idea that if Robin doesn't want Simon to see the child, she can legally keep the child from him. That makes no sense. If he is the child's father, he hasn't just as much right to the child as Robin does. You said it was "her" child, when in reality, it's his child too. A mother doesn't have more rights than a father does. You come off as somewhat delusional if you think that's the case. since there's no evidence that Simon abused Robin, what basis does she have to keep the child from him? Simon was a bully, BFD. Robin is a drug addict. So she's not necessarily more fit to raise the kid.
