Hitler had blue eyes and was rather short.

At the end if the day this is a comedy and not and the film in no way pretends to be a historical documentary. I think the guy they picked was perfect. IRL Hitler was just a sickly short man and wasn't as charismatic as most people made him out to be. That wouldn't have worked here.

sharesickly? towards the end yes but not for most of his life.. apart from his eyes that were damaged by mustard gas in ww1 which healed and left no lasting damage, his gunshot wound in his arm from when he was shot during the march on soldiers barracks during the '23 beer hall putch, the close encounter with the bomb explosion of 20 july 44, he was for the most part healthy until he started showing signs of parkinsons and was ordering his doctor to pump him full of amphetamines and steroids to counter the effects.. for most of his life he was a healthy vegetarian
