Does this show poke fun at some of the mystery/sci-fi elements of LOST?

No, actually it borrows elements from Milton's "Paradise Lost".
In a fun way.

Also Gilligan's Island.

Not the sci-fi stuff, but it definitely pokes fun at Lost. I'm hoping they get into some of the mysterious stuff from Lost eventually though.

At least they've started doing the flashbacks. I loved the one with Owen and his father after he won the little Miss-ter pageant. And all that stuff with Steve was painful.

"You just fired me. What are you doing at my house?"

And the whole 'you can be anyone here' speech was pretty much from Lost.

I hope they find the hatch and somehow Turdhole has already gotten himself trapptin it.
