People seriously had to ask if this was a LOST parody?

WOW - what clued you in - other than the shot-for-shot opening. Some people should seriously think things thru before commenting --- I suppose this was overdue.

I think it's pretty funny - the usual hat trick now - hope it can stay edgy-funny for a few years. Good Luck all involved!

I was thinking the exact same thing. Seemed pretty obvious from the very first teaser that it was a Lost parody. Everything from the name of the show to the music to the one line synopsis.

Not everyone has seen Lost and it premiered 12 years ago. I doubt many people remember what happened in the first episode if they haven't seen it in 12 years. Personally, I watched the first season or two when it came out and this show did make me think of Lost, but I wouldn't have been able to say whether it was an actual parody or just similar because of the genre.

I have never seen a single episode of Lost. I don't even know why I never have except that there must have been something else up against it in the same time slot when it premiered that I was already following. What'd be cool is if each episode it was declared which season/episode they are gonna parody because I think I could find this even more enjoyable if I first watch the lost episode then the parody. I have enjoyed watching Wrecked even though never seeing a episode of Lost before.

Most people on iMDB forums have no common sense or even the idea to Google something before asking.

I never saw Lost, I heard of the show though. I could figure out the basic concept of Lost from the title

From the trivia

"Wrecked" plays as an amalgamation of three different television series: "Lost", "Gilligan's Island", and "Police Squad", with the actors playing out the absurd situations and dialogue completely straight.

"Lost" didn't even cross my mind - but "Gilligan's Island" did as soon as I read the synopsis.
