I'm pretty sure half of it has to do with the fact that he is so funny looking with that damn hat, but anytime he opens his mouth or stares just makes me laugh.

He (Rhys Darby) is insanely funny. If you've never seen Flight of the Conchords please watch it. Amazing show. He plays Murray, the inept band manager who also works at the New Zealand consulate.
"What do you call your hair color Murray?"
"Electric copper."
His stand up act is also amazing. He's pretty much the reason I started watching Wrecked. So glad I did because I'm hooked.

He is great, I love that he is the 'NZ/AU' accent comedy actor default for Hollywood it feels like hehe. I feel like I hear him do voice acting in animation a fair bit too. As an Australian it's great to hear someone not just using redonkulous / fairly unused 'Australasian' slang phrases.
