I just saw a preview to this movie.

From what little I saw on the preview for this movie it looked very familiar.
If my theory is correct this could be a comedy version of 'LOST' and if it turns out to be entertaining I think it might make a good series.

I was just coming to post something very similar... Looks like it could be funny. I'm hoping they'll somewhat parody LOST. It would be fun to look for little hidden references.

Just saw it too. It does look like a Lost parody lol. I love Lost and Im so down for that!

I saw the advertising on TBS, and it looked like it was going to be a TV series. I never even considered it being a movie. Where is you see A preview?

reply

TV show, not movie.

Wow, you guys are real geniuses, I would have never guessed that this was a parody of Lost!

reply

I personally wouldn't since I've never seen that show. I try my best to avoid shows that 'everyone' seems to like. I obviously haven't watched Breaking Bad either :)

reply

Obviously everyone has different tastes, but generally speaking, when "everyone" likes a show, it's usually because it's good. Why would you do your best to avoid good shows?

reply

I just like to explore the unknown first .. it comes from my main interest (music) mostly, where I take decades to get around to stuff that everyone knows (I am barely starting to to listen to some Beatles now for instance), as I prefer to hear the freshest newest stuff or old stuff that I had no clue about. I've been proven wrong a few times, I really enjoyed Red Dwarf around a decade after season 7 or 8 finished hehe

Then you should watched Spaced. It came out in 1999-2000 so it's long since past pop culture. And has some Phantom Menace references in it.

I'm being serious. Spaced is one of my favorite shows of all time. Has the Shaun of the Dead crew, sort of the prequel to the movie.

Don't worry already seen Spaced and Hyperdrive :) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hyperdrive_(TV_series)
