Cursive capital L on Chet's left breast

Re: "The Trial" original-air-date July 19, 2016. Wow .... How ominous is it that this 'Laverne & Shirley' symbol would make a rare and disconnected cameo appearance on the same day that Garry Marshall passed away.

When they showed a part of it in previous episodes I was trying to figure out why he had it and I did think that he must have been a Laverne and Shirley fan. Half jokingly, to myself.

Shame about Garry Marshall. The man knew comedy.

These happy days are yours and mine.

Yours and mine.

Happy days.

I saw the L in an early commercial for the show, and wondered if that had a secret meaning that we would find out later in the series. I saw Gary Marshal on one of the last few episodes of the second season on the new The Odd Couple, and mentioned to people who had also watched it how he was slurring his words and seemed like he had a stroke. He seemed "off/odd" not like himself. We all thought he had a stroke (I am a neurosurgeon so we all go right to brain injury in my department), but I also thought of the fact that he was a big drinker at one time, and his actions could be from Korsakoff syndrome. I am sorry such a legend is deceased, but I saw it coming when I viewed him on The Odd Couple a few months ago.
