Snail's pace

I actually think the speed's picked up on the pace. Season 3 and every subsequent episode has gotten better. I like every new episode better than the last and every episode I watch (first-run) mystifies me to no end. The symbolism, cinematography, music score... and acting.

You wann see stagnant??? Go watch a dang episode of The Walking Dead!

I got into that because a girlfriend got me all bothered by her reaction to Glenn last year... I was warned... a bud told me:
"Fuck that! Every damn week is the same crap!" and he stopped watching after season 4... but I pressed on... got all caught up... and now, I'm addicted, but all they do is milk that crap.

That's not what's happening here. At least, not in my humble opinion.

Whatever they are doing, it is working. I cannot wait for each episode to air.

They blew up some buildings in the last episode--that should have made you happy.

Maybe they'll introduce some costumed heroes in the next episode, or how about some giant robots? That should make you happy.

I love it. I love the pacing and the suspense that it builds. Someone mentioned The Walking Dead and they are so right; if you don't want to see something slow and repetitive, don't watch that show.
