How should they build the X-Men in the MCU?

Would you rather a handful of heroes get solo film's building into an X-Men event, or would you rather have the X-Men as a team already established?

I'd personally prefer the already established approach. I could see them doing flashbacks from the beginning of the team forming, but like Spider-Man Who had several movies before, I don't necessarily think the team needs an origin.

Yes, they should have been present at the end battle for Earth.

So now we know Mysterio didn't come from an alternate dimension.

And while Dr. Strange's next film deals with a "multiverse of madness," I still doubt that alternate dimensions will be used to introduce the X-men or the Fantastic Four.

My theory, and it's just a theory, is that alternate realities detract from our emotional stake in the "prime" MCU reality.

I can't see any other way than origin stories.

I don't think it would be hard to introduce the Fantastic Four in the current continuity without using the multiverse, but I feel it would be for X-Men due to the sheer number of mutants and the time period sensitive origin stories for characters like Magneto and Wolverine.

Guess we'll have to wait & see.

Feige and co. have surprised me enough with GotG and so on, so I've got faith it'll be awesome however they work it.

I agree, though, it'd suck to lose Wolverine and Magneto's respective histories.

Yeah I'm all in for it no matter how they do it. I haven't been let down yet.

They shouldn't.

Or... should. ;)

But they most likely will, and it’s safe to say this is something a lot/most fans are looking forward to.

I for one am curious to see how it’s all going to turn out. Seeing the entire X-Men in a whole new (more comic accurate?) way should be welcomed. I’m sure they’re going to make it work (I am all for it regardless).
