Where the hell is the miltary?

This total war going on and our armed forces are just hanging out? Skies should be full of jets dropping nukes all over the place.

Most of the supeheroes are useless against Thanos , do you Think the military Will do any better ?

They would act as cannon fodder like they do with any major event. Like Godzilla or whatnot where they fire indiscriminately at the all powerful being hoping to effect change before getting wiped out. It's more funny when the military has less power than people with spears from Wakanda.

Assuming Thanos’ ship can’t hide itself from being detected by primitive technology, there isn’t much time to do anything.

So Thanos wants to wipe out 50% of the people, so your response is beat him to the punch, "drop nukes all over the place", and wipe out the full 100?

What are you talking about? It absolutely would make sense to drop a few nukes on the site of Thanos' landing and destroy all his forces, and accept the tens or hundreds of thousands of people who would die in that localized area of destruction, and thereby prevent roughly four BILLION people on the whole planet from being destroyed.

So you drop your nukes and possibly(doubtful) kill Thanos, meanwhile you definitely kill all of earths heroes (except maybe hulk) and leave Earth totally vulnerable to the next Thanos.

If I remember right, this was the Security Councils plan in the first Avengers movie which Nick Fury referred to as a stupid ass plan.

If the alternative is the destruction of HALF of all the life in the entire universe? (Or as it turns out ALL, since Thanos revised his plans.)

For the movie's sake I am glad none were involved. It would have added unnecessary filler. I know these movies aren't realistic. It would be a little bit unrealistic to have armies of regular people assembled and ready to fight against Thanos. The battle started so quick. I could see misses/nukes being sent like the 1st Avengers. Why waste the time? Have fun and enjoy watching the characters we love and their armies fight.

the Finale battle was awesome!!!!!

but it would be cool if the military and the army helped them out.
