Why is Cassie Lang in this movie...
And being aged up from 9 to 17? Dumb.
shareUnless what I hear about the trailer is true and some of the movie is set a few years in the future. Then it makes sense. Maybe we even see her as Stature.
shareJust what we need. Another peripheral superhero and one they aged up about ten years as well.
shareBecause thirty or forty main characters isn't enough!
shareI'd rather see them do something like add wings and energy blasters to Scott's suit. Again in this last film it emphasized how stupid it is that they would choose not to give him those advantages. Janet's life is at stake and he's waiting for ants to dodge seagulls instead of flying on his own.
shareUnless Tony upgrades his suit~
shareI doubt she'd be a "main" character. She'll be there as much as Pepper Potts was in Infinity War is my bet.
shareI like the idea of a time jump. If everyone stays dead for nearly a decade before being brought back, that would actually feel more significant than if they just reverse it in a few days.
shareHere's my guess. Marvel and Disney are likely going in a "youth must be served" direction for the next phase of MCU movies. I can understand it but I'm not thrilled about it. Cassie Lang does end up becoming a member of the Young Avengers in the comics, possessing the same abilities as her dad, Ant-Man.
shareThe new wasp.
