Why didn't Dr. Strange just reverse time?

They never did a good job of explaining how powerful the stones really are. The minute Thanos had all the stones, he controlled all of time and space. Maybe he himself didn't realize what they could do but the stones themselves sure did. Honestly, nothing they could have done would have worked. The whole final film is bullshit.

Using time stone just creates new timelines, which he did countless times.

But the point is to do something consequential to their time line.

End game is quite a tricky movie, because time travel does the same thing, it is also about using stones from past which is effectively a different time line, and use them in their own time line, which is impossible to come back to.

Because it is no longer time travel, it is time line travel, they don't have the technology to identify the time line they came from, only TVA can do that. Stark clearly at the time did not have any concept of multiverse.

Also as soon as time travel can happen Stark would be able to travel to future and acquire more technologies, Stark would become another Kang. And why didn't that happen?

That is why I think end game is a stupid movie, it is not logical.
