So not to get ahead but let's share thoughts for the MCU's Phase IV

Where do fellow Marvelheads see the franchise going after Avengers 4 concludes? More interestingly, what would you like to see?

I've been a bit concerned with some of Kevin Feige's comments about the next phase of characters and storylines that they're looking at for Phase IV. Granted, with RDJ and Chris Evans likely leaving the franchise after Avengers 4, they have to look at new characters. I only hope they don't dilute the magnificent universe they've built with characters that nobody cares about.

With that being stated, here's what I'd like to see in Phase IV:

1. Fantastic Four - PLEASE, PLEASE COMCAST... DON'T F THIS UP FOR US!)
2. More Spider-man movies - IF SONY KEEPS THEIR DEAL IN PLACE WITH MARVEL.
3. Black Widow - YES, I WOULD WATCH SCAR JO IN A SOLO BW MOVIE ANYTIME!
4. Silver Surfer - A GREAT WAY TO INTRODUCE MORE COSMIC CHARACTERS.
5. West Coast Avengers - LET HAWKEYE LEAD THE WCA, JUST LIKE IN THE COMICS.
6. More Hulk movies - GET THE RED TAPE UNWOUND WITH UNIVERSAL AND JUST DO IT!

So those are the items on my wish list for Phase IV. What are yours?

Looks like we'll get GOTG 3, Black Panther 2, Spider-Man 2, and Dr Strange 2 for sure. We'll probably get a Black Widow movie and it will likely end up with the fifth Avengers flick.

My theory is that Phase 4 sets up the Masters of Evil. Maybe the next series of movies will set up a bunch of villains with the after credits scenes setting up the big villain team-up, similar to Phase 1. In fact, they might even have Zemo coming back to be their Nick Fury where he breaks each villain out of prison or something with the promise of getting revenge against the Avengers. In fact, they could even call the next one "Avengers: Acts of Vengeance".

That all sounds cool!

Thanks. I hope they ho this route if for no other reason than to bring back Abomination.

I liked Abomination and think The Incredible Hulk is unfairly bashed by people. It's not a bad movie! Abomination could easily be brought back for a future movie.

reply

Agreed on both points. They don’t even have to get Tim Roth back since Abomination has no human form and his voice is distorted to the point where it is not recognizable.
