Poor worlds Thanos visited before the ****

Now... they have only a quarter of their population left ;)

You're right! Statistics don't lie!
Really, Thanos's method is so poorly thought out it's pathetic. In order for his method of population control to work, and keep populations stable, he'd have to come back every few centuries and commit genocide AGAIN. If he's so freaking all-powerful, why doesn't he just snap his fingers and make single individuals incapable of breeding more than twice, or budding more than once?
It's almost like he's a psychopath who is using population control as an excuse to commit genocide. Almost like... he's some kind of villain. Hmmm.
shareAs it is been mentioned in another thread with his infinite powers he could have just as easily doubled all the resources in the Universe instead of halving the population.
So yeah, he is a psychopath.
Thanos was also okay with killing Groot and the Asgardians who were all on the cosmic endangered species list. I think he os okay with a few planets’ worth of populations dying off. More resources for others.
shareAnd he killed MORE than 50% of the Asgardians! Why didn't he stick to his plan!
Well, probably because the Asgardians could be a threat to him.
Maybe he has Black Order and they make a head count so he knows how many members of a certain race he can kill. And in case later on he needs to kill say an Asgardian for whatever reason he can now use the Time stone, turn back clock to when he killed the first half of the Asgardians, leave one out and then go back forward in time and kill the guy knowing full well the math is good and the balance is restored. It's that simple.
