AMC Dolby Cinema or IMAX 3D
I want to see it as good as it can possibly look. These look like the 2 best options in my area. What do y'all think?

shareIMAX 3D... at least at first. While the quality of Dolby Cinema is as good as it gets (monstrous sound, too), the size and scope of IMAX is on another level altogether. And yes the image quality competes with that of Dolby Cinema, though sometimes it depends on the theater and movie.
Oh, and considering that Infinity War was filmed entirely with IMAX cameras (the first feature film in history), I would say IMAX is essentially the proper way to see it. Sure I don’t know if the 3D conversion will be ideal, but either way a good IMAX screen should show much more detail than any other premium large format. It’s a good bet.
I shall be watching it in Dolby Cinema eventually (love to FEEL that sound), however experiencing it in IMAX seems like the way it was meant to.
Thanks, DracTarashV2. IMAX 3D it was. It was good, but Dolby Cinema might have been better, IDK. A couple of observations:
-The 3D glasses got aggravating, uncomfortable after awhile. 3 hours is a long time to wear them and it's hard to know when to take them off so as not to miss anything.
-The sound was OK, but given the subject matter, might have been better w/ the Dolby Cinema sound, including the shaking seats.
-Didn't see any especially captivating 3D effects and sometimes off-center views were blurry. Made me wonder what I was missing. The Dolby Cinema 2D might have been just as good.
I'll try that Dolby Cinema someday, but not a 1-to-1 comparison for this movie. Given the ending, I didn't enjoy it enough to see it on the big screen again.
Cheers!
IMAX 3D all the way.
