Will it be more Avengers or Age of ultron

shareMe thinks more avengers\civil war
shareI doubt it will be much like either. Avengers was a great meet-em-all-up movie, and Ultron was a great follow-up. This seems like it will be the in-over-our-head swan song. So far, no two Marvel films have had a similar feel, even within the same franchise, and I don't expect this to be different. I *do* think Avengers 4 will feel a lot like 3, as it's almost the same film-- same directors, shot concurrently, telling one story, etc.
shareI expect it will be more like "Civil War", an overpopulated mess with some really great scenes.
The snippets of interviews from the directors suggest this is mostly a film about Thanos with the Avengers playing supporting roles. I don't think this will be like anything we've seen yet.
shareOh dear.
shareI don’t want it to be like hobbit...set up in one movie and pay off in other...breaks narrative continuity
shareAs a fan of both 2012 Avengers and AOU, I expect: it will be far better than either.
In spite of the criticisms by a select few (hey up there), the Russos handled the numerous characters, action sequences and storylines in Civil War with both finesse and expertise. Their work on The Winter Soldier alone was extraordinarily magnificent, and with Civil War they created a more epic and refined film. And although most of the MCU DO have their own separate tones, the feel of the Russos bros films felt vastly different —in a very good way.
Just to let you know, I’m not ruling out the possibility of Infinity War being underwhelming, but if the last two Captain America movies are anything to go by, then I predict we can expect something bigger (obviously), better, and unlike anything we’ve seen before. Something monumental. And it’s worth noting the Russos did receive some help/advice from other MCU directors. So yeah, I’m ready!
I think it will be more like Avengers. Team up to beat the big bad except at the end of this one the Avengers are defeated and then in the next film they will need to regroup to beat Thanos. The major difference will be that this time around there will be casualties which will be nice to add some additional dramatic appeal.
In my opinion Avengers, AoU, and Civil War all really feel the same, but Avengers was just much better done in terms of action and story and I expect this to be on that level or even better because the threat level is so much higher.
Ultron, but people will be in denial and say it topped Avengers
