Will Marvel/Disney Reboot before Warner/DC?

Now that Disney owns all of the characters that Marvel needs to solidify the MCU how will Marvel organically bring all of these characters into some kind of coherent universe that respects the characters and respects the movies that are now a foundation?

In print both Marvel and DC would do these events to reset and reimagine. If the event was a turn over or poorly received they would create another event and reset.

Both Dc and Marvel I feel need to reboot for different reasons and it just seems to me that Marvel will use elements within the current MCU to reset itself very cleverly. It appears Marvel is playing the hand that was dealt them (even though they created the mess by selling off rights to stave off bankruptcy) and will use the Infinity gauntlet to not only kill off characters and actors who have expiring contracts, want to do something else creatively and to reset story-lines that didn't yield the results that allow them to move forward.

Within two years Marvel is prepared to roll the FF, X-Men, the Sub-Mariner, SS, Galactus, Doom, Cable, Deapool and their entire Netflix ensemble into the MCU while honoring every ticket purchase and Blu-Ray sold at the same time. With one snap of the finger of the Infinity Gauntlet Marvel can both deconstruct the MCU and reconstruct the characters along a new MCU. Marvel can painfully and cruelly kill off every character within this MCU and have Thanos both win and lose at the same time and not know it.

I believe that the audience and fans will both applaud and continue on with the Marvel/Disney journey gladly.

WB/DC will have to do the same and it will sadly appear that they again are chasing Marvel. the WB/DC should reboot now with Flashpoint. This is their only chance to regain the Movie-High Ground without it appearing that they are chasing dollars uncreatively. Marvel is doing it out of necessity after not starting their MCU without all of their characters without any idea that they will ever get them all back.

WB/DC needs to do this after botching the introduction of their One-off characters as the foundation of the DCEU without a plan to go beyond the DCEU.

the MCU won't be rebooted. No need to.

Maybe my definition of Reboot is different from yours.

The simple inclusion of the properties once controlled by Fox makes the current MCU disjointed and rather confusing in timelines and even how to move the newly acquired characters forward.

Do the Fox X-Men movies exist or were they part of some alternate reality? How do you remove them from the Fox-Verse events and now into the MCU-Verse without explaining how that is possible? I for one would just ignore everything about the Fox-Movie-Verse and weave all of the X-Men characters into the MCU.

Just as for Spider-Man all of the Sony Spider-movies and events NEVER happened. In essence Spider-Man was not only re-casted his world was rebooted.

Not really, because the MCU has nothing to do with Fox's take on the X-men and Sony's F4 and Spiderman. The MCU had no need to be rebooted for the inclusion of Spiderman at all, BUT they need to reboot the X-men and the F4 for their inclusion when they can do 1 of 3 things:

1) don't call the Mutants "mutants" at all [Scarlet Witch ans QuickSilver were dubbed as "augmented" - or another name I can't recall in AoU] but - depending on the effects of the Stones in IW and A4 - make them appear as a side effect.
2) Make them a new thing that is popping up [independent of what happens in IW and A4] as Vision explains in Civil War for explaining the appearance of "special" individuals [and Zemo's "more powerful men have tried"], instead of a thing from the past.
3) Make them living in hiding since some decades ago [hence, the world not knowing about them].

Fantastic 4 is also rather easy to do:

1) Make them a new thing [ending up buying the Avengers Building and call it the Baxter building]
2) Make them a thing from the past [like Captain Marvel and Ant Man] that has been absent in space under secrecy by Nick Fury and Tony's dad.
