Need some Marvel to tide you over until Infinity War? Want to watch all the MCU movies again but are too overwhelmed by the large number? Well, just follow this countdown guide to Infinity War for your weekly dose of Marvel. By the time this ends, Infinity War will be out! I know Black Panther is on here. I figured by the time you reach it on the guide, the Bluray will already be out.

Personally, what I'm going to do is after I finish the week's movie, I'm going to watch a trailer for the next one as a "Next week on MCU'' thing like they did with movie serials back in the day.

Although I can watch them all in maybe less than month (I’d probably skip The Incredible Hulk though), this looks like a pretty good guide to follow. I don’t know if Black Panther will be available to own by that date, but that would be nice.

It more than likely will. I'm predicting Ragnarok's Bluray for sometime around February (right before Black Panther hits theaters) and Black Panther's Bluray around mid-late April for just before Infinity War

I have so many younger members of my family who are interested in Avengers: Infinity wars who have never seen all of the movies or even read any of the comics. Marvel/Disney may be creating an event similar to Star Wars but one that requires you to consume many hours of media BEFORE you can adequately feel the entire impact. The key is the characters. Marvel/Disney has made you attached to their characters.

I'm going to have to spoon feed so many of my nephews and nieces before this movie arrives.

Many critics have complained that each installment was just a commercial for the next move. Long-form story telling has some consequences that can make the whole MCU a huge wonderful problem. Especially when you become attached to the character. You want to know more and it can force a fan to have to go back and do what?

Rewatch.

Binge.

The MCU is doing it the proper way this far. It's hard to introduce characters, give them their own origin story [where it applies] and make them interesting for the viewer. Even harder to introduce new characters in the MCU in the middle of the movie, effectively stopping the movie, without making it look like a damn commercial [example: Justice League members in BvS]

Ant-Man? Who's that? Oh, you mean the guy that shrinks and rides insects.

Dr. Strange? Who? Ah, the guy that shifts time around in a movie like Inception. Cool

Thork? Throg? Thong? The guy with the hammer.
