Queen Tribute Thread--The Curious case of "Captain Marvel Wont Top Wonder Woman Domestically"

With Captain Marvel Drastically over performing this weekend putting its total domestic gross around 400 M.....CM is now guaranteed to top Wonder Woman's domestic Gross of 412 M...

really this only matter because one desperate act of trolling defiance by a shameful poster named queen

No one really cared if CM topped WW domestically...Unfortunately one poster made it his LIFE LINE when all his other predictions failed.

Queen spent 6 months trolling on Captain Marvel claiming it wouldnt top Wonder Woman's Opening Weekend or Its TOTAL box office...

Including The EPIC thread "This aint no Wonder Woman" where queen guaranteed CM wouldnt top WW's 103 M OW and then claimed it might do Ant-Man 2's 75 Million numbers.

Queen Then did something truly pathetic and desperately and shamefully tried to change trolling tactics that NIGHT CM came out.....When Projections started coming in that CM was heading for a 145 M+ OW and Queen realizes all his predictions were going to be wrong....Queen in 1 last desperate attempt to continue Spite trolling decided to change trolling tactics and now claim "CM wouldnt beat Wonder Woman's domestic total"...Queen had not mentioned this one time in 6 months prior....

Thus here we are....A months or so later...CM now guaranteed to top WW's domestic gross...

I thought now would be a great time to look back at Queen's Posts over the last month when he had FULL confidence CM wasnt going to top WWs domestic total...

remember all these replies came after CM opened and Queen then desperately changed trolling tactics.-

I'm not embarrassed of this thread at all...soon we shall see in about 72 hours if this can beat WW's OW and also if it can beat it's domestic total of 410 million.

I still say no on both counts...especially the latter.

Like I said...let's wait until Sunday to see how this shakes out. If it beats WW's OW I"'ll readily admit I'm wrong.

Two things you CAN count on...this isn't hitting. 160 million OW and comScore and audience ratings aren't so hot so what matters in the end is it's total gross and you KNOW this won't top WW's 411 million domestic total.

It's still not going to match WW's domestic total no matter how much you huff and puff.

The fact that it debuted 50 million above WW and It's first Monday and Tues simply match WW's is not a good sign. You're going to see just how hard it is for a movie to reach WW's domestic heights.

Since it's weekend was much bigger, those first Monday and Tuesday results are much higher percentage drops...hence it's not holding nearly as well.

It's not easy getting to 400 million and I don't think this has the staying power to get there.

Point being...with this trajectory, it won't be long at all before CM starts posting lower daily box office than WW.

If the 2nd and 3rd weekend sees precipitous drops then it's truly over as far as beating WW's domestic box office.

Ummmm....bill...it's even WORSE!

I looked at CM's first Monday gross and it's actually 800, 000 LESS than Wonder Woman's! Tuesday is less than 300, 000 above it. This coming off an OW that was 50 million higher! NOT a good sign for this "guaranteed domestic beating" of WW.

I was wrong. Let's move on to discussing it's ultimate domestic total.

With each passing day it's clear it will fall significantly below Wonder Woman's.

It's already about to fall under WW's daily results.

We'll see. Lots of variables here. We know Shazam is coming in absolutely hot domestically. Captain Marvel is really running on empty here and Wonder Woman's domestic total is surely out of reach at this point.

Shazam feels downright fresh and on the ascendancy. DC Films have a ton of goodwill right now here and abroad.

We'll monitor this closely as things seem to be moving by the day.

Is Endgame going to open huge? Sure. But we've seen many of your "guarantees" get deleted by you when you can see they obviously aren't going to happen just like you deleted your posts from the middle of Opening Weekend stating that Captain Marvel was "guaranteed to beat Wonder Woman's domestic box office"on CM's day 5 when you saw it was already dropping below it's daily numbers. Remeber the editing/deleting you did and then tried to be cute and asked me to reread your posts?

The "LOLOLOLOLOL" is directed at bill Brown who said Captain Marvel was "guaranteed to beat Wonder Woman" on CM's opening weekend then deleted it once he saw it immediately fall below WW's weekday numbers.

And as you see from his above post from today...he STILL says CM "beat WW IN EVERY WAY".

Uhhh...no...it didn't beat it domestically. A list...C list...or D list...doesnt matter...the fact is it did not and will not match or beat WW's domestic gross.

I follow box office and I give predictions from time to time so sometimes I am right and sometimes I'm wrong...just like YOU.

Yes...I predicted that CM would not match WW's opening weekend gross and thus it goes without saying that I didn't think it would match Wonder Woman's domestic gross, either.

And we know it won't match it. Everyone is trying to conjure up fantasy scenarios where CM is going to beat WW's domestic gross but it ain't gonna happen.

Here:

I was WRONG about:

CM not matching WW's OW.
CM not matching WW's worldwide gross

I was RIGHT about:

CM not matching WW's domestic gross.

Do you realize what you just posted here? I thought I "never brought up WW's domestic total being beaten" before Opening Weekend? You said I "changed trolling tactics AFTER opening weekend", right?

I even said "Especially the latter(domestic)"!

Np matter...that argument...lol...was always stupid anyways because if I was predicting CM to open LOWER than WW it goes without saying that I thought it was not going to match it's domestic total.

As a third party here, I think what bill is calling out is how you will gloat based on unknown future reserves, like WW keeping the domestic crown.

Plus you self contradict:
