I really expected more from Key and Peele

Their sketch comedy show always has me in stitches. I was really left wanting to have laughed more at this movie. I rated it 5 stars because it's average, which is not what I would rate Key and Peele as on any level. I don't know how they fell so flat on this movie. Nothing was very funny and it was all pretty easily predictable. I could have written this script based on the very basic structure of a buddy comedy.

I'm disappointed.

Also, I'd like to add that the cat was barely a part of the story or movie in general. I was really expecting it to be the main star in the movie, but it seems like it was just a small part that was used to break up the action.

This wasn't a Disney movie. Why would the cat be the star?

Who knows? Maybe because the movie is the same name as the cat?

i didn't they are just not that funny, the cat was by far the best actor out of the bunch and is the only reason this 💩

Barely a part of the story? The entire reason they jump through all the hoops they do is to get Keanu back. It's their entire motivation. Maybe you don't see the cat as much as you'd like but he was definitely a main focus of the movie.

Seriously did you think the cat was the main character? Who pays $8.50 for a movie ticket to see a cat? If you want to see real comedy not cable regulated BS this is what you get I would give it 4 out of 5. It's a funny movie if you want 5 out of 5 smoke a little I'm sure they did when they made it. But remember it's a movie it's for enertainment get over yourself.

I thought it was pretty funny. I laughed my ass off a few times. A couple of Key's sudden "gangsta" outbursts were hilarious lol.

Me too. Their sketches were so funny. I guess it's harder to make a full length film funny compared to a few minute sketch but this needed more work.
