There are no limits to the depth of my contempt for “found footage” bullshit

Fuck you, Blair witch.
So here we have Open Water 3, existing solely to make a buck off of morons. Sharks eat people. Surviving morons refer to the recordings as “footage,” yet the recordings are digital, on cell phones. DIGITAL HAS NO FOOTAGE!!! This is the level of intelligence that goes into “found footage” projects.

95% is garbage. Rarely does it work.

"Cloverfield" is the best found-footage movie ever. And, that was helped strongly by having an experienced cinematographer, shooting on then-state-of-the-art digital cinema cameras, and taking the footage into post production and making it look camcorder like there.
