Better than the first

At least the mean spiritedness and bullying was toned way down! I didn't really like Kid Rock's character from the first film since he played a male alpha bitch type character but with a country accent, but at least he wasn't a macho bully who gets his kicks by beating up people, now I f_cking hate those type of bullies! But all and all, I thought Patrick Warburton played a better antagonist than Kid Rock did. At least he was funny unlike Rock. I mean if you're gonna play an @sshole, at least be funny and not just a jerkass who bullies, just to be cruel!

Better than the first? Can I have some of what ever you're on man? Because you have to be smoking some really good stuff if you think it's better than the first one.

I'm sorry, while the first movie was decent, the bullying in that film was so f_cking annoying as f_ck and it diminished the comedy value. I'm not saying the first one was bad or anything but the bullying went way too far! Almost any post-1980s film with bullying in it is a very bad thing!

I really don't get the hate for this sequel. Sure it's not great, but it's not terrible like some of you people are saying it is. People are just ungrateful anymore, I guess!

The biggest problem with this film was the cliched "time travel" and "alternate reality" plot. It's been done so many times already; It's a Wonderful Life, A Christmas Carol, Back To The Future trilogy, Groundhog Day, Shrek Forever After: The Final Chapter, Donnie Darko, The Butterfly Effect, The Wizard of Oz, and so on. They really could've came up with a better plot like someone kidnaps Brandy and his triplet daughters and he has to go on an adventure and rescue them, that would've made for a better sequel and would've been less cliche. The idea of Joe having to rescue his family from thugs at least would've been a nice throwback to those 70s and 80s films like The Warriors and those Bruce Lee films.

There was a first? Huh.

I thought it was marginally better than the first, but not much in it.
