shareI was quite impressed when I watched it in the theatre, but after rewatching it on my tv at home, not so much. The Lego Movie was much better at replay value.

As for the story, personally I thought the Joker's deliberate trip to the Phantom Zone was clever enough, something that might work in a serious Batman story. Without Sauron and Voldemort making guest appearances, of course.
I agree. I found The Lego Movie a lot impressing too. This movie was fun though and has some clever jokes/references too. I thought the story was interesting enough for a Lego-based Batman movie, but just not as compelling on a rewatch level for some reason like TLM.
