Why did Christian fill up a full glass of liquor and immediately turn off the light and go to sleep without drinking it. That was annoying. Did I miss something?

alcoholics do this. You pour yourself a glass then try to sleep. If you aren't asleep in five minutes, take a sip and make sure there's more there waiting for you.
