Creepy dread

I thought the film held a sense of mystery and suspense, dread and impending disaster through to the end. There was also a sweetness to the guy who trusted his buddy in spite of the alarming behavior his friend was exhibiting. I loved the film.

Agree! It really unnerved me, first time in a long time I've felt so much dread and panic during and after a horror movie. The dread was relentless, it only let up for a moment, right when they set up the appointment with the second therapist and got rid of the weapons. But that relief did not last long, eh????

Exactly what I felt. What was awesome for me about this movie that so many terrible things could happen and I'm glad that none of it actually ocurred! Like jesus, shooting people on the street with nail gun, suicide by this gun, sulfuric acid poured on people, smashing heads with a hammer or an axe! I was terrified the entire time. Bravo! Plus - For a brief moment I was in a similiar situation so I can understand the dread when in your flat is a paranoid schizophrenic who suddenly starts to act agressively, very strange, it's after midnight, you are alone with him, you are high as hell. I gotta tell you guys that there was one moment in this movie which reminded me about my encounter very much. I love this movie.

For a few minutes I thought he had a death wish.

I thought his friend was so stupid! If a friend came to me with that cockamamie story, and had an axe, a nail gun, and sulfuric acid, I sure wouldn't let him tie me up.
