If this is a scary movie and in this all crimes are legal how come there are no rape scenes?

I'm pretty sure there are, but they are not shown. What bothers me is what about children? According to the purge rules, 12 and up can purge, but what about those 11 and under? That group should be protected, and crimes against them dealt with harshly.

The original versions had rape corners-women chained to light poles for anyone to freely rape and violate. Universial or whoever picked up the series put a hard no on sexual assault and on screen child abuse.
